VisitThe ideal candidate for this exciting position would be a critical thinker with a deep understanding of their subject, who is also curious and keen to handle manuscripts across a broad area of scientific research, and who has a particular interest in life sciences research methods development. We are particularly seeking candidates with expertise in microscopy, imaging techniques and cell biology. The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated, be able to work well both independently and in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills. This role can be in our New York, Jersey City, Shanghai, or Beijing offices on a hybrid working model. IHandle original research manuscripts and work with the team on every aspect of the editorial process, including manuscript selection and overseeing peer review.A PhD in any basic biology research area, though we are particularly seeking candidates with expertise in microscopy and imaging technology and cell biology. Computational expertise is a plus.A brief cover letter explaining why you would like to join the team, relevant experience, preferred office location, salary expectations and current notice period. A CV detailing your education, employment history, list of published scientific papers, and any achievements demonstrating your suitability for the position. A concise discussion of recent scientific developments that you have found particularly exciting, and why .US Annualized Base Salary Range: Associate Editor: $80,000 | Senior Editor: $95,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
