If you are on a call, do you hang up before entering a public restroom? Ask Yadi has the answer.

Should cell phone conversations continue when entering a public restroom? - Photo by Yadi Rodriguez, cleveland.comCLEVELAND, Ohio -- Should cell phone conversations continue when entering a public restroom?

When entering a public restroom – whether at work, a restaurant, a ball game or anywhere that is not your home – end the call before entering. The bathroom should be a safe space, one free of cell phone conversations. It’s bad enough to have a shy bladder. Nothing’s worse than when another person enters the restroom and you freeze up and hold back because they’re on a call. Don’t do that.

I would rather be upfront with someone and let them know, “I need to call you back in a few” rather than continue the conversation. Be considerate of anyone else that may be in the restroom, or anyone that may enter while you are already there. Hang up the phone.
