You should contact your sister’s children to ask for their perspective regarding their mother’s needs. I had originally wanted to go but, upon thinking and pondering this, it does not feel comfortable to me in my present state of mind.How can I gently decline when I originally thought this a good/fun idea?Before declining altogether, you should do your best to sort out your feelings.
