A confidential staff survey made public through a Senate inquiry on Tuesday showed the regulator had just two out of 12 outcomes at average or desirable levels.
Staff motivation, satisfaction and stress are at critical levels at the corporate watchdog, and role insecurity and intention to leave are well above average, according to a confidential staff survey.
“While culture is built over many years, there is room for improvement in every organisation and ASIC is no different. Like any organisation, work is underway at ASIC to continue building our culture, and we are also in the final stages of recruitment for the new role of Chief People and Culture Transformation Officer, who will be working closely with the Commission and executive leadership team.”described as highly inappropriate and crossing a line.
Organisational-level quality was rated at below five out of 100, although ASIC declined to provide details about what exactly that meant.
