New this year, guests are invited to participate in the Lantern 5K presented by CrossCountry Mortgage on July 23 at 8:30 p.m.
Published: May. 30, 2024 at 5:44 AM EDTCLEVELAND, Ohio - The Asian Lantern Festival returns to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the seventh year.
The festival, presented by Meijer, will run from July 5 through Aug. 25. On select nights, guests will also be able to drive-thru the festival. “Since the inception of Asian Lantern Festival, nearly one million visitors have experienced Northeast Ohio’s biggest summer event,” said Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer. “Thanks to the support of our incredible community partners, we’re thrilled to offer guests all-new imaginative displays and more ways than ever to experience the festival with the addition of Dino Cove and Swan Voyage.
“We’re excited to partner once again with the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in support of the Asian Lantern Festival and the widespread cultural experience it brings to the Greater Cleveland area,” said Melissa Conway, Director of Community Partnerships and Giving at Meijer. “This event is a must-see for all ages and a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy something truly special together.”
