Ashlee Simpson says daughter Jagger, 8, is copying her 2004 style after discovering ‘Autobiography’ album
After Jagger “discovered” Simpson’s “Autobiography” album, the 8-year-old copied her mom’s 2004 fashion, the “Pieces of Me” singer exclusively told Page Six while promoting her partnership with Dairy Queen.
The “7th Heaven” alum noted that Jagger and her “little friends” have “fun” belting out her songs — and are “new fans” of Avril Lavigne’s music as well.Acknowledging that she was once “feeling herself” in “wrestling boots” and “tutu skirts” back in the day, the actress said she would now skip that combo.“Super low jeans I would pass on,” Simpson said before joking that she “really held on to a mullet for a long time.
The former reality star explained, “It fades nice. It kind of works with my base color, which is, like, an ashy honey color. So it’s just has really worked for me.”In the two decades since “Autobiography” came out in 2004, Simpson has released “I Am Me” and “Bittersweet World” in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
