ASDA shoppers will 'never buy a Chinese takeaway again' after trying cheap £2 meal
Supermarket giant ASDA has blown shoppers away with a budget £2 meal that tastes so good, people say they don't want to buy a takeaway again. Takeaway lovers could potentially save hundreds every year by swapping to the budget £2 ASDA meal - which isn't a bad thing as Brits do as much as they can to lower bills in the cost of living crisis.
ASDA also has Takeaway for One Chicken Jalfrezi and Tarka Dahl,Takeaway for One Firecracker Chicken & Garlic Ginger Chicken andTakeaway for One Chicken Tikka & Saag Aloo options.Shoppers were blown away by the quality and the quantity of the meal, and shared their experiences on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page. Julie Wiggins explained: "I bought this from Asda. Wasn't expecting too much for £2 but wow, it was lovely. Frozen meal for 1.
Maria Rogers said: "I have had this and it was really nice." Helen Cowdell agreed: "These are lovely … theres a firecracker chicken one and it’s sooo nice."
