Asda has left shoppers bemused with an unexpected bargain offering in its Valentine's Day range - an engagement ring priced at just £1.

It's selling plastic engagement ring for £1 each.Unsurprisingly, shoppers don't quite know what to make of them. On the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, Beki Devoto said: "Asda Trying To Out-Do Poundland With A £1 Engagement Ring.
Sarah Joanne Owen said: "I bet there will be loads that will." Ryan Biagioni said: "I’m struggling to be sold on this one, sorry." Some were surprised by how nice the ring looked, with one woman describing it as 'very cute' and a second wrote: "A pound! Can't get over it."
