For the second time in two weeks, Florida's Gulf Coast is bracing for the impact of a major hurricane. Hurricane Milton became a Category 3 storm on Monday, packing top sustained winds of 125 mph. The rapidly intensifying cyclone is spinning in the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico and drifting to the east.

Such a storm surge would cause significant flooding in downtown Tampa.
