Even though Hill isn’t on the perimeter and Kansas City’s run game hasn’t taken the step they’ve wanted it to, with 10 wins in their final 11 games and a 14-3 record, there isn’t a single team that wants to see Mahomes trot onto the field in the postseason. As stacked as the AFC is with dual-threat quarterbacks like Josh Allen, dynamic receiving trios in Cincinnati with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, or flashy edge tandems in Los Angeles with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack, the road to the Super Bowl still runs through the heart of the midwest where Mahomes lies in wait.
