But for Smart, coming in with a fresh set of eyes, he has been able to watch the drama unfold from afar. “Ja’s a great guy and it’s unfortunate that, unfortunately, he’s Ja Morant,” Smart said. “He’s one of the biggest names in the world, and everything he does is going to be magnified times one hundred. And like I said, he’s human. He made a mistake just like me, you or anybody else can make, and it probably wouldn’t be as intensified.
