Hills LL finished the Australian tournament by going 5-2, winning the title with a 16-3 victory over Central Firebirds LL. Australia lost its only game so far in the tournament, 11-0, on Friday to Chinese Taipai. The Aruba Center Little League team, from Santa Cruz, became the second one from Aruba to win the region championship and represent the Caribbean Region in the LLBWS. After losing its first two games in the Caribbean Region tournament, Aruba Center LL went on a four-game winning streak, punching its ticket to Williamsport.It stayed alive on Saturday with an 8-3 win over the South Czech Republic Little League, representing Europe-Africa.
The game between the Caribbean and the Australia regions is set for a 2 p.m. ET start on ESPN.
