He needs just one more belt to become undisputed champion and that is currently owned by WBA king Dmitry Bivol.They are both rated among the pound-for-pound best in boxing today with Bivol having beaten Canelo Alvarez last year.At the post-fight press conference after the Yarde win, Carl Moretti of Top Rank mapped out their plans for him later this year.“That’s the biggest fight you can make, it’s one of the biggest fights in the sport.
“We know the manager of Bivol very well, so we’ll reach out to him and try and make this fight next for everybody.be the WBC next, but Moretti insisted: “We’re gonna try and make the Bivol fight as much as we can.”Eddie Hearn – who co-promotes Bivol and is planning out his career alongside the champion’s manager Vadim Kornilov – has already made his plans clear.
Hearn is also trying to secure Canelo Alvarez to remain with him on DAZN in the future, so hopes to make a rematch with the Russian in September.“The only reluctance I could see is if he’s promised Canelo,” Moretti said.Bivol comfortably beat Canelo, but the Mexican still believes he can win in a rematch
