Chiefs went behind early in the game after a defensive error by Daniel Cardoso led to Craig Martin opening the scoring for City before Terrence Mashego got City's second goal early in the second stanza.Late substitute Dumisani Zuma pulled a goal back for Amakhosi in the dying minutes but it was too little too late.
"I thought we had that one covered, I don't know what happened to Daniel, I think he tried to flick the ball to the goalkeeper and couldn't generate enough power to the goalkeeper, unfortunately we conceded from there. "As you can see, when you're chasing the game and concede the second goal but I thought we had enough defenders inside the defending zone, I don't know what he was trying, he was just fortunate to score that one.
