Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Arthur Zwane has revealed what he told his players at half-time during Sunday's DStv Premiership against Mamelodi Sundowns. SLSiya Full story:
Zwane, though, revealed that he told his players about the diagonal passes and spaces Sundowns are able to create in the opposition box. Chiefs conceded four minutes into the second half, as Aubrey Modiba netted the opener.
"In second half, we started very slow. Sometimes football you try to alert players about certain things that are happening in the game. At half-time, we told them about the diagonal passes and we ended up conceding from the very same diagonal , because Themba would go and attract Njabulo and obviously create space behind Njabulo. We tried to deal with that. We did that well in the first half, but they were moments where they could have punished us, though they were not clear cut chances.
