Arsenal have been handed injury concerns over two senior stars ahead of an Anfield showdown after the pair did not travel with the squad for Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.
Arsenal have been hit by two injury woes, with Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber not making the trip to Bournemouth on Saturday. It makes them doubts for next weekend's home clash with Liverpool. Saka is still recovering from a muscular issue sustained during England's 2-1 loss to Greece nine days ago. Meanwhile, Timber has been out of action since his half-time substitution in the European game against Paris Saint-Germain on October 1.
Timber had started five of his six league appearances before his injury. Meanwhile, Ben White returned to the Arsenal line-up against Bournemouth after missing the last five matches with a knee injury. Additionally, Kai Havertz, who sat out Germany's Nations League games, was fit enough to start. Former injury doubts Gabriel Martinelli and Oleksandr Zinchenko were relegated to the bench, while skipper Martin Odegaard was still sidelined with his ligament injury.
