The Mailbox is largely concerned about whether Arsenal should be happy with a title challenge even if it fails. The answer is largely yes.

Then we jump to next season. Could Arsenal finish outside the top four? Yes, easily. Outside the top six? Yeah, possibly. The Premier League is about to change. Only Man City can guarantee Champions League football currently. Withand with Brighton, Villa, and maybe Brentford looking to be regular European challengers the numbers simply don’t work. 7 into 4 doesn’t go. 10 into 7 doesn’t go.
First, we got up everyone’s noses by over celebrating last-minute victories and now people are annoyed we’re not in complete desolation at “bottling” the league. As I sit here today, reading the mailbox comments firing back and forth vociferously between supporters of two particular clubs, both with reasons to be mildly happy but neither anywhere near where they would consider to be completely successful historically, I find myself wondering, why is the aggro being fired between you two?
I am aware that City’s quiet supporter base helps exacerbate this problem just as United and Arsenal noisy supporter base has the opposite effect but come on people, it doesn’t really matter that you’re both feeding on scraps, it’s who’s putting you in that position that you should be aiming your ire at.
