Arsenal love late drama...
Reiss Nelson came off the bench to score a stunning late winner for Arsenal as Mikel Arteta’s side battled back from two goals down to beat Bournemouth.
Man City beat Newcastle 2-0 at midday so Arsenal needed to beat AFC Bournemouth to restore their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League. But the Gunners got off to a nightmare start as Philip Billing scored for the visitors just 11 seconds into the game. Arsenal were in big trouble with half an hour to go as Marcos Senesi doubled Bournemouth’s advantage.
This second goal sparked Arsenal into life as they got a goal back a couple of minutes later. Thomas Partey got their first and Ben White equalised shortly after. Arsenal pushed for a winner late on and they got their reward right at the end as Nelson scored a stunning goal to make it 3-2.
