West Yorkshire Police are investigating the attack

Witnesses described the Leeds crime scene as "an absolute blood bath" following a nasty attack in Belle Isle which saw two men rushed to hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning . Footage of the incident had been posted on social media between a group of men outside the KASA convenience store in Belle Isle Road.

One witness said one man had his head "bashed" on metal spikes covering a nearby wall. West Yorkshire Police have since launched an investigation into the attack after two men were rushed to hospital. Both men have been arrested in relation to the incident, however, one has later been released without charge.

"One of the men, aged 35, was initially arrested on suspicion of affray but was later released without charge and is being treated as a victim.
