A warrant of arrest has been issued for the truck driver who ploughed through more than a dozen vehicles on the N3 near the Mariannhill Toll Plaza late last year. ECRNewsWatch KZN

The crash claimed the lives of two people, including the son of Minority Front leader Shameen Thakur-Rajbansi.

Pradhil Thakur-Rajbansi and his fiancée Priyanka Nunkumar were killed after their vehicle was crushed by the heavy goods truck., was released on R10 000 bail in November last year. "The matter appeared before the Pinetown Magistrates Court and the accused was not present," says KZN National Prosecution Authority spokesperson Natasha Kara.
