A 24-year-old Elyria man indicted on several charges in connection with a teenager’s drowning death and child sex charges, was arraigned in Lorain County Court of Common Pleas Thursday.
LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio - A 24-year-old Elyria man indicted on several charges in connection with the drowning death of 16-year-old Vincent Pabon ., was arraigned in Lorain County Court of Common Pleas Thursday.
Jacob Rosado was indicted on the charges of tampering with evidence and two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor. Vincent’s mother, Megan Cuevas, expressed her grief and demand for accountability, stating, “Rosado needs to be held accountable.”“He was fun. He was loving. He was full of life,” said Cuevas. According to police, Vincent was with Rosado when the incident occurred. Rosado told authorities the two had been drinking, and at some point, Vincent ended up in the water.Rosado is now facing legal proceedings related to Vincent’s drowning. During his arraignment, Rosado was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence and possession of child pornography. He subsequently entered a plea of not guilty, with his legal team requesting a pretrial hearing date. Vincent’s friends and family, frustrated by the ongoing situation, are calling for a more thorough investigation into the case. Megan Cuevas emphasized the impact her son had on many lives: “Vincent was everything to so many people. No matter what they are here for every single court case. Justice needs to be served for him.
