Manchester United chief executive Richard Arnold admits he made the 'ultimate decision' that Mason Greenwood should continue his career elsewhere following his summer exit.
That, however, was a U-turn after an original plan to reintegrate him into the first-team squad prompted a backlash from supporters. Unrest among some of the club's own employees also played a key role in forcing United into a reversing their initial decision. "The evidence presented to us contained important facts that were not in the public domain. I made the ultimate decision as CEO that Mason's career should continue elsewhere.
