Arne Slot has been predicted by a Liverpool legend to only spend 18 months in charge of the Anfield outfit after replacing Jurgen Klopp .
Mark Lawrenson has explained why Slot faces an "impossible" job replacing Klopp next season - and told him what he must achieve during his first year in charge. The former Reds defender also believes that Slot could only be Liverpool's manager for 18 months if he fails to get some early success under his belt.
"But if it’s punctured with one or two strange results, you’re going to get people saying, ‘He’s not Klopp,’ and all that kind of stuff. It’s a great job for him to get, I just feel he might only do a year, or 18 months total and then it’s whoever after that.
