Philippine Army officials visited Camp Siongco in Maguindanao Del Norte on Wednesday to engage with the troops stationed in the area.
Army Inspector General Major General Rommel Tello was accorded with military honors and was warmly received by the Commander of 6ID and Joint Task Force Central, Major General Antonio Nafarrete along with the General, Personal, Special and Technical Staff of the command. Subsequently, the Inspector General led a ‘Talk to Troops’ with the officers, enlisted personnel and civilian human resource of the Command.
He reminded Unit Commanders, Chief of Offices and Senior NCOs of their daily responsibilities to lead especially in inspecting its personnel and facilities, reiterating the importance of morale and welfare, and emphasized on the significance of good discipline and healthy lifestyle. Maj Gen Tello also congratulated the 6ID for its exceptional performance and maintaining the highest standard of excellence as a unit. “My congratulations to you, I’m happy sa aking nakita, na ang sinasabi ko ay ginagawa na ninyo. Salamat”, Maj Gen Tello added.
