Deputies and SWAT have shut down a neighborhood in Yelm, Thurston County, due to an armed standoff with a domestic violence suspect who is barricaded inside a home. Authorities believe the suspect is armed with an AR15 and crisis negotiators are on scene attempting to contact the individual.

Yelm police report the activity is occurring near 99th Ave SE and Terra Glenn St SE.Authorities believe the suspect is armed with an AR15.The Thurston County SWAT Team is on-scene with deputies, and have cordoned off the neighborhood block.
