A suspect robbed a Dollar Tree store in North Canton, Ohio, forcing the manager to empty the cash register before fleeing into a wooded area. Police are investigating the incident.
An armed man forced the manager at a North Canton Dollar Tree to empty the cash register. North Canton police said the robbery happened just before 9 p.m. on Dec. 13 at the store located in the 1600 block of N. Main St. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled through the wooded area behind the business. Officers and the K9 from the Jackson Township Police Department tried to track the suspect, but he managed to escape.
According to police, the suspect is a white man, 5′9″-5′11″, about 250 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask, grey sweatpants, and tennis shoes
