Oakland police are examining a series of robberies that occurred early Monday morning, with armed suspects targeting a convenience store and several gas stations . The incidents unfolded between 3:00 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. According to authorities, the first robbery took place at a 7-Eleven store located on Thornhill Road. Shortly after, the second robbery occurred at a Chevron station situated on Pierson Street.

The subsequent two locations were situated just a block apart on Martin Luther King Junior Way.At the 7-Eleven, the aftermath of the robbery revealed shattered glass scattered across the floor, a result of the suspects forcibly breaking through the door. An employee at the store recounted that there were four armed suspects who stormed the premises and stole money from the cash register. Security footage capturing the burglary at the Chevron ExtraMile station on Pierson Street depicted the area behind the counter in disarray, indicating a ransacking. Authorities confirmed that the suspects employed objects to shatter windows and doors, gaining entry into the establishments.As of now, Oakland police have not issued a statement regarding a possible connection between the robberies.
