LAPD arrested an armed man at an event held by presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Friday.

LAPD says that they took the man into custody at the event as he was trying to pass himself off as a federal official.

Officers say he will likely be booked on a gun charge later Friday evening. His identity has not yet been released. "I am the first presidential candidate in history to whom the White House has denied a request for protection," his tweet said.
