The Armani Residences Marbella are being developed in collaboration with Rafael Nadal and Abel Matutes' Palya Invest and Sierra Blanca Estates.
Group, Palya Invest and Sierra Blanca Estates have partnered for the Italian brand’s first residential project in Spain to be located in Marbella. Sierra Blanca Estates leverages four decades of expertise in developing luxury branded residences on Spain’s Costa del Sol and Palya Invest is a company led by entrepreneur Abel Matutes and tennis ace'The Devil Wears Prada 2': Costume Designer Molly Rogers Breaks Down the Fashion, From Representing the Late Armani to Revisiting the Cerulean Sweater “This project holds a very special meaning for me, particularly because of the opportunity to collaborate once again with theGroup, a brand I deeply admire and with which I had the chance to work at the beginning of my professional career,” Nadal stated.
“Now, in a different way and together with Sierra Blanca as an expert developer on the Costa del Sol and a strong interpreter of today’s real estate trends, we aim to create a development focused on promoting well-being and sporting values, as well as a Mediterranean lifestyle that inspires us all. ”Construction of the Armani Residences Marbella is scheduled to begin in June 2026, with delivery in 2028.
“This project is not just another development for us. Armani is one of the most important brands in the world, with decades of experience in the residential sector and a well-established presence in some of the world’s leading capitals,” said Carlos Rodríguez, chief executive officer of Sierra Blanca Estates.
“Its arrival in Marbella, together with Sierra Blanca, marks a turning point for the city. For us, it is a true privilege to be part of this project, and to do so alongside the Nadal and Matutes families makes it even more special. ” Comprising only 33 exclusive residences, they will be built on one of the last private properties on the Golden Mile, the stretch of coastline connecting Marbella with luxury resort town Puerto Banús.
Surrounded by nature, they will be nestled in an area covering 540,000 square feet, with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra Blanca mountains. Sales will commence with an initial stage in which just 12 residences will be released, as part of a phased commercialization strategy.
“Partnering with Sierra Blanca and Armani in Marbella represents a natural convergence of real estate excellence, iconic design, and a way of living that goes beyond luxury to become an experience,” added Matutes. “The Costa del Sol is today one of the great international stages of contemporary lifestyle, and we are delighted to be part of this project.
” Armani Residences Marbella will be designed and furnished by Armani/Casa and residents will have access to services including a state-of-the-art spa, a fully equipped gym, a private club and a 24-hour concierge service. In January, the group inked a joint venture with Symphony Global to further develop a portfolio of Armani Hotels & Resorts in selected international locations.
Symphony Global is the private investment firm of Mohamed Alabbar and the agreement furthers the storied bond between Armani and Alabbar that led to the opening of the first in 2010, which occupies eight floors of the soaring Burj Khalifa tower. That hotel was followed by a second in Milan in 2011, which will be refurbished next year.
An is being built in Diriyah, a 300-year-old site located a 15-minute drive from Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expected to open next year. Since 2003, the Armani /Casa Interior Design Studio has provided complete interior design services to private individuals and property developers, including the Maçka Residences in Istanbul, the Century Spire in Manila and the 260 Residences byin Miami, in a 60-story oceanfront tower designed by architect César Pelli in Sunny Isles.
Other residential projects developed by Armani/Casa are in London, Tel Aviv, Mumbai, Mexico City, Dubai and São Paulo.
