Arlington police said a man was discovered dead in a home of apparent gunshot wounds.
At about 2 p.m. Monday, patrol officers were flagged down by a man who said he had discovered a dead body in a home in the 300 block of Kingfisher Lane while performing a welfare check on a family friend, according to an Arlington police news release. Officers went to the home and found a deceased man with multiple apparent gunshots wounds.Based on the condition of the body, police estimate the man had been dead for several days, the release said.
Police said that due to the condition of the body, the man was unable to be fully identified.As of Tuesday, police said they have not identified a suspect and no arrests have been made.
