The Yarnell's Ice Cream Company said Wednesday that it is voluntarily recalling containers of their Guilt Free No Sugar Added Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream due to the possible presence of eggs which isn't part of their normal ingredients. "People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product," the Searcy-based company said during their recall announcement.

The effected product was distributed to a dozen different grocery store chains in Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas, Yarnell's said. Stores include Cash Savers, Edwards Food Giants, G&W Foods, Harps, Hays, Hometowns, Kroger, Mad Butchers, Shoppers Value, Superlo, Town & Country Supermarket, and Walmart.

The dessert company said the 48 ounce containers with the "best buy" dates of Nov. 15, 2024 ; Nov. 16, 2024 ; and Feb. 4, 2025 are the products being recalled. They said customers who purchased these products may return the ice cream to the store they purchased it from to receive a full refund.
