A seven year old Arkansas girl, Ryen Jayne Henson, is finally recovering after a terrifying few days almost losing her life from a brown recluse spider bite.
Seven-year-old Ryen Jayne Henson is recovering and preparing to leave a hospital after a terrifying few days in which she almost lost her life to a brown recluse spider bite.
"She was continuing to throw up and complain about the pain, her color started to change, and I thought this is not right," said Henson. "We needed to get a second opinion and so we loaded her up and took her to in Springdale.” Ari Fillip, medical director for the Arkansas Poison Center said they see an uptick in cases around this type of year and a bite often will display itself with a purple center.
"Yesterday we saw glimpses of herself, maybe even a little sassier," said Jerrine Henson. "We give a lot of that glory to God.”
