Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation that will prevent state health officials from ever adding a COVID-19 vaccine to the list of required school vaccinations and bar face mask mandates in any buildings operated by state or local governments.
Officials with Embry health say they have seen an increase in positivity rates at their COVID-19 testing sites, as state officials reported more than 7,000 new cases. FOX 10's Irene Snyder reports.

The coronavirus measures were the latest moves by majority GOP lawmakers to limit what they have called government overreach. All House and Senate Republicans voted for the measures, and minority Democrats were unanimous in opposition.Ducey has already signed multiple pieces of legislation this year targeting virus restrictions.
