Arike Ogunbowale was ejected from the game with 52 seconds remaining and may be suspended after making contact with an official. The game was marred by a high number of personal fouls and both teams shooting 35 free throws each.

“[The official] was looking for something, I just watched it back a million times,” Ogunbowale said after the game. “I don’t know what’s going on this year with the refs but that was the worst call I’ve ever seen in my life.”Evans, who made 9 of 9 from the foul line, scored 14 points for the Sky and Morgan Bertsch added 11. Chicago made 31 of 64 from the field, 12 of 26 from 3-point range and hit a season-high 30 free throws on 35 attempts .
