The 1998 track spent 13 week at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release. The two R&B greats also made cameos in Grande’s‘s review, writer Brittany Spanos called “The Boy Is Mine” a “late Nineties, early Aughts R&B-pop moment.
