Ariana Grande Is Going Back to Her Acting Roots

.ArianaGrande is making a new return to her TV roots.

Today, Grande announced that she will make an appearance on the upcoming season of, the Golden Globe–nominated comedy series that stars Jim Carrey. And the choice of co-star is fitting for Grande—the pop star happens to be a huge fan of the actor. She claims her first AIM username was jimcarreyfan42, and in April, the two even exchanged some kind words. Grande thanked him for being so candid about mental health and said he is “such an inspiration” to her.

” Taking her fangirl to the next level, she even has a tattoo of a quote from one of Carrey’s movies,, which reads, “In case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight!”: “Nothing is crazier than getting to work with and spend time with someone whom you’ve idolized and adored since before you could speak. Actually, what’s even crazier is discovering that person to be more special and warm and generous in person than you ever could’ve imagined.
