VMA nominations are in!
, and Bad Bunny are just a few of the many faves who nabbed coveted spots across the many award show’s many categories.
In keeping with the times, the network has added two new categories — Best Music Video from Home and Best Quarantine Performance — to recognize the new challenges presented by social-distancing mandates and a world in which massive shoots are simply unsafe. Immediately after the awards were nominated, the artists reacted accordingly. Ariana reacted on Instagram Stories, where she gave special love to her “Rain on Me” collaborator. “Wowowowow congratulations I love u so much!,” she wrote, tagging Gaga in her post. “U and the entire team deserve them all. Thank u for including me in this and to mtv for the nominations! So grateful.”nominations this year for my album Chromatica, for Rain On Me, and other performances I’ve given.
Katy Perry, who was nominated for Best Cinematography for her “Harleys in Hawaii” video, also showed Gaga some love by commenting “Gorg” on her fellow singer’s celebratory selfie.for all 15 categories. Who will take home the moonperson? That’s up to you — but we have a feeling Gaga and Ariana are going to find a way to celebrate together, no matter what.
