With one year of high school left, Ariana transferred at the beginning of the winter semester and will play at Conroe High School for her mom this coming fall.Brown was a second-team All-Greater Houston selection last fall for the Bearkats as a junior. She led the team in kills with 481 and aces with 67. A 43.5 percent hitter, Brown also had 390 digs and 205 assists. Klein went defeated in district play and reached the Region II-6A quarterfinals.
“There were so many different reasons for the move,” Charvette said. “Klein volleyball has been very good for her. I think she was able to make a name for herself and there aren’t questions on why she earned anything. She got a lot of accolades. She was just able to do that on her own. We are thankful for Klein volleyball and Coach Zora in the last three years.”While with the Bearkats, Ariana learned and played alongside many elite players.
When Ariana was a freshman, Klein was in the same district as Conroe. Charvette had to coach against her daughter twice that season.
