The standoff ended about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when police found the suspected gunman’s home empty.

A 5-hour standoff to arrest a suspected gunman ended Saturday in Harrisburg with police rushing into his home and finding it empty.

But he must have left before officers arrived. Police say they believe they know his name and are continuing to search for him. Prior to going inside, police fired pepper gas grenades inside. They also flew a drone to look into the windows and then flew the drone into a broken window to search the home.
