Several area school districts are closed for the total solar eclipse, but students at North East ISD will report to class as they have learned about the eclipse ahead of the celestial event. Safety glasses will be provided for safe viewing.
SAN ANTONIO — A number of area school district are closed on Monday for the total solar eclipse . However, students at North East ISD will report to class., they learned about the eclipse ahead of the celestial event. It's part of her students schoolwork as Space and Engineering Technologies Academy kids.“Hopefully it gets a lot darker,” said Alexa Lankford.
Lankford and several of her classmates mentioned they will be in class. NEISD schools have plans in place for students to see the eclipse during school hours. Safety glasses will be handed out for safe viewing. Several students just hope for clear weather.“I’m going to be angry if there are clouds,” said Damian Castro.
