Archie's family lodge an appeal with the Supreme Court.
Archie was found unconscious at home in Southend, Essex, on 7 April.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for the Supreme Court said: "They [Archie's parents] are seeking a stay of the Court of Appeal's decision to allow withdrawal of life-support treatment from their child." "The Supreme Court is aware of the urgency of this matter," she said, adding that a panel of three justices would consider the application.
At that hearing, Sir Andrew said: "In short, his system, his organs and, ultimately, his heart are in the process of closing down."
