People are speculating on who the dig was aimed at
The Queen's funeral is underway in London with the Archbishop of Canterbury presiding over the ceremony.
However, one remark made by the Archbishop of Canterbury has sparked controversy among mourners and viewers, reports KentLive. He said: "People of loving service are rare in any walk of life, leaders of loving service are still rarer. But in all cases, those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are long forgotten."
Some have interpreted this as a 'dig' at Boris Johnson, while others have interpreted as criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Anjana Ahuja said: "Enjoying the subtle digs in Welby’s speech: a disapproving reference to those who cling to ‘power and privileges’, and an admiring nod to ‘servant leadership’."
