Authorities are asking for the public’s help in solving the April shooting death of a Bessemer man in Birmingham.
Birmingham police were dispatched about 11:20 a.m. that Saturday to the 700 block of New Hill Avenue on a report of a person down.
Once on the scene, officers discovered Edmond unresponsive near the road. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene. Eight months later, no arrests have been made and details surrounding Edmond’s death remain a mystery.
