PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): Applicants can check whether their Special Prihatin Grant application has been approved or otherwise through the official Inland Revenue Board (IRB) portal from Wednesday (June 2).
PUTRAJAYA : Applicants can check whether their Special Prihatin Grant application has been approved or otherwise through the officialIRB said in a statement that it had received 642,976 applications for the grant from May 1 to 15, of which 488,857 or 76% had been approved.
IRB said payments to successful applicants are expected to be credited directly to their bank accounts beginning June 15. According to the IRB, the government had agreed to allow those whose applications were rejected to make an appeal from June 3 to 15 through IRB's official portal to ensure all eligible parties received the grant.
