Apple has released an Apple Watch software update that fixes issues with apps that use the smartwatch for tracking Parkinson’s symptoms.
At present there’s no word of any more of these advanced medical features heading to Apple Watch models in Watch OS 10, due in September. But the new software will have “follow-up medication reminders.”
2022’s Watch OS 9 introduced medication reminders within a sort-of medications tracking system. However, this new notification feature will make those reminders more persistent, if you have not logged having taken those medications. They can also be set as “critical alerts” meaning they won’t be silenced by turning the volume down, the mute switch or the Do Not Disturb mode.Follow me on
