Apple TV+'s psychological thriller Surface is set to return for a second season on Friday, February 21, 2025, with new episodes airing every Friday through April 11, 2025. The sophomore season will delve deeper into Sophie's (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) quest to uncover the truth about her mother's death, as she infiltrates London 's most powerful and secretive family.
Season 2 expands the cast with new additions like Phil Dunster, Gavin Drea, Rupert Graves, Tara Fitzgerald, Nina Sosanya, alongside returning stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Millie Brady. Joely Richardson and Freida Pinto also join the ensemble. Created, written, and served as showrunner and executive producer by Veronica West, the new season is executive produced by Mbatha-Raw, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, and Sam Miller.
