Apple TV's hit sci-fi series will return soon. With the creation of several streaming services, sci-fi is one of the genres that has grown the most over the last few years. However, no other Apple TV sci-fi show has gone on for as long as a series released in 2019 has, and it is coming back soon. Apple TV has released a For All Mankind season 5 teaser, revealing that the sci-fi series will return on March 27. The new episodes of the sci-fi series will pick up years after the Goldilocks asteroid heist. For All Mankind season 5 explores the growing divide between those living on Earth and the new colony of Happy Valley on Mars. The interplanetary conflict promises a thrilling new addition to the sci-fi series, with the show planning to further expand its reach into the solar system. For All Mankind is one of the most acclaimed sci-fi TV shows of the past few years. On Rotten Tomatoes, the sci-fi series boasts a mighty overall critics' score of 92%. When it comes to the individual season ratings, For All Mankind has proven to be a consistent hit that has only gotten better with time. For All Mankind season 1 is at 75%, with season 3 at 94%, and seasons 2 and 4 at a rare perfect critics' score of 100%. Every season of the Apple TV series consists of 10 episodes, which will once again be repeated for the upcoming season 5. New episodes will be released weekly starting on March 27 and ending on May 29. The Apple TV series' latest episode,"Perestroika," the season 4 finale, was released on January 12, 2024. As such, when For All Mankind returns with season 5 this March, it will have been two years since viewers last watched the sci-fi series. The season 4 finale set up the events of season 5 with the Goldilocks heist. As far as the future of the series, its creators have already teased what is in store beyond the new season. Speaking to Collider on July 26, 2025, co-creators Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi said, "We've always said it's either six or seven because I think the hope was when we do catch up to the present."
