Apple has landed its first GoldenGlobes nominations thanks to TheMorningShow
. Still, the company has had its sights set on awards, holding events and screenings of its new slate of shows for voting groups like the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which picks the Golden Globe nominees and winners.
"Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for today’s historic nominations,” Zack Van Amburg, Apple’s head of worldwide video, said in a statement. "After the debut of Apple TV+ just last month, today's nominations are a true testament to the powerful storytelling that went into, as well as all of our Apple Originals.
The Golden Globe nominations follow a Critics' Choice nod, announced Sunday, for Crudup in the supporting actor in a drama series category.
