The next iPad mini will see the biggest redesign yet, according to a reliable analyst
So, the big news is that the next iPad mini could join the design club which currently has just two members: iPad Pro and iPad Air. Gurman claims that the flat-edged design of the Pro which only slid down the iPad family last year to the iPad Air, will come to the mini.
The bigger display, it seems, will be made possible on the next iPad mini, as it was on the latest iPad Air, by the removal of the Touch ID home button. On the iPad Air, that fingerprint sensor was moved into the edge-mounted power button and it looks like that’s what’s going to happen on the iPad mini, too.
