A new management committee is needed for Newlands Community Hall or it will close for good by March 31.
A public meeting to save a popular community hall from closure by Falkirk Council is being held on Wednesday evening.
The meeting is being held in the hall in Montgomery Street on Wednesday at 7pm in the hope that enough volunteers come forward to make it viable.Falkirk Council has confirmed that it has terminated the lease of the current management committee and that the building will close unless a new community group, with an appropriate constitution, comes forward.
The group have printed flyers and posters to advertise the meeting and would like as many people as possible to come along.
